May Auril bestow the frostkiss upon our enemies!

Hello again! It’s been a while since I last updated, and for good reason! The past two months have been increasingly busy as the fiancee and myself plan for our honeymoon in Europe in only a few short days! I’ve also just finished out another successful semester in school, and closed out our pre-launch testing phases at work, so my schedule has been slammed! There have been many sleepless nights in the last two weeks or so, but that’s all behind me now and I can turn my attention back to updating this with my recent mod work.

Last update, I discussed more of Nashkel. I’ve begun to move into the areas around Nashkel. I’ve done an immense amount of work on the Nashkel Carnival, which has been fun in its own right, but still has a lot of work that needs to be done. You can see some of the work I’ve done in this video where I run around the area.

Whats even better is that I’ve gotten most of Branwen into the game. She’s a pretty strong Cleric in BG1 thanks to never multi-classing. Here she is kicking my butt while I’m unarmed (so rude).

Finally, with this update I worked on the nav-mesh some. There’s still some work that needs to be done with it, and I need to fix the guards who’ve decided to go inside the barracks and never come out again. Otherwise, Nashkel is really starting to come together. I’m very happy with the progress.

I hope that in the next few days I will be able to post again. I leave for my honeymoon at the end of this week and I will be in complete radio silence for the next 5 weeks. I still want to get some Xvart monster spawners in place, get some more of the Nashkel side-quests implemented, fix some script errors in the companion script, and fix the music for the carnival before I head out for vacation. Either way, I leave you with this gem of Minsc beating the crap out of people at the carnival!
